Default completed: Eddie's reflective foglight housing mod!

fairly inexpensive and easy to DIY mod makes a difference in the light output of the fogs (see link to Eddie's original post below).

I added a thin sheet of reflective metal to the inner housing of the fog lights to disperse the beam and brighten the output.

Here's an "after" pic with new 7500K GP Thunder H11s put in:

Not a bad match and brightness has increased. It's still slightly off since no halogen will ever hit the xenon colouration due to different technologies but it's close and I'm happy with the outcome.

It's also a nice way to match up to the reflective inner housing in the A4 ecodes:

BEFORE (note the inner foglight housing):

AFTER:

You'll have to excuse the dirty pics (haven't had the time to do my Spring detail yet).

Thanks again for the phone tech support, Ed.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/738866.phtml">click here for Eddie's original write up</a></li></ul>

Default yes, they should be available in "two weeks".

but seriously, I'm hearing that they'll be available in different finishes within the next couple of months.

Got 19s?

Default you mean the small city light in the ecode housing?

yes, I upgraded to hyper white LED bulbs for the city lights thanks to the help of my fellow Detroit B6ers.
