Coolant leak from front diff?
I noticed a pool of liquid keep forming in the driveway the past couple of days from my 2005 Audi Avant 3.0
Upon inspection, I determine the leak (looks like coolant) was coming from one of the screws that holds the cover in place for the front differential.
Pardon me if that's not the right name/description but it's where the driver side axle goes into the gear box.
If this coolant (or transmission fluid) is it normal for these types of fluid to be in the differential?
If not, is there gear oil in the differential? And how did coolant get into the differential?
Thanks for the help.
