Crappy Windshield Sprayers
I cant stand the windshield washer nozzles on the B6, the little two stream spray is terrible. I miss the fan spray from my MKIV GTI. I have read that it may be possible to use the sprayers from a B5 Passat or A4 to replace ours and give us the much better spray pattern, can anyone confirm this?

i have these part numbers noted:
Passat spray nozzles:
Non-Heated- 6E0 955 985.
Heated- 6E0 955 986
but i can't remember where i found it, and i haven't tried it yet. they are supposed to be the fan spraying type, and are supposed to fit our b6 a4's.
confirmation from someone who has tried it would be very welcome.

Yeah Ive checked the pricing on them already they are like $5 and $25 a piece respectively. Considering just picking up the unheated to see if they fit right and all.

I think they are streams because the fan pattern sucks at high speed
Every car I've ever driven with a fan spray loses effectiveness at speeds over 70mph.
If you get the streams positioned correctly per factory spec, you get full window coverage. It's tricky, but once you have them right, it's as good as the fan pattern, except when you're sitting at a traffic light and it sprays your roof and back window

Reminds me of something my father did...
Back in the day when he worked at an MBZ dealer, he was adjusting the nozzles, and went back into the car to test. It sprayed over the whole car and onto the shop manager.
He swears he didn't do it on purpose, but with my dad, you never know.
