Default Deciphering my VIN???
I just got the VIN for my '03 Avant. I've read that all the colors and options are coded into the VIN. Is this true? Anyone know of a resource that explains this? I want to verify that my car was built as ordered...

those options are not in the vin, only make, model, engine ect

if the VIN holds the color, that means you can't repaint the car a different color?
