Dented Windshield Border :( Is it replaceable?
Need help...Yesterday I noticed a pretty good-sized ding in the strip that borders the windshield (don't know exactly what this is called, but it's about 2" wide and goes along the side of the windshield. I am not sure it's metal, though, after looking at this dent).
The dent is bad enough that the paint is even gone (maybe a lawn-mower projectile?), but I'm not sure the best way to take care of it. I thought maybe just replacing that strip would be the easiest thing to do.
Anyone have any thoughts about this?
