Door Sensor Problem
Hi all, a few months ago I did a bit of damage to the rear passenger side door. Lucky enough I was able to get my hands on a door the same colour in good condition. After the mechanic had finished replacing the door, he told me to come back the following weekend with the car as the door wouldn't lock, and was showing as open on the dashboard.
I never had a chance to go back to him and ended up forgetting about it, but now I want it fixed or even to get rid of the 'door open' and bring back the temperature and the MPG. Is there anyone here who could give me a bit of help as to fix it? I was thinking it's just a switch, so maybe there's a feed in and a switch wire I could join together?

Just going off my fallible memory, I believe each door has it's own control module that resides in the door and the switch is wired to this module so there is no wiring outside of the door that you can short together to fool the car's computer into thinking the door is closed.
