Default Double crap...car crapped out on the way to work today

It was driving fine getting on the freeway and accelerating nicely...but then I get off the freeway and notice a definite sluggishness in the throttle response...look down and sure enough..max boost is only about 5lbs. WTF? It hobbled into work like this. BTW, no CELs..probably no codes...

Now I have one frickin SUV that is leaking coolant heavily from a heater hose near the back of the engine somewhere (found this out yesterday when trying to pic up my race car from the shop that was working on it)...AND the battery is dead..and now my 2005 Audi is not working properly. Is it a full moon or something...is my ying bigger than my yang? Did my karma go bye-bye. Seriously, WTF!!!!

I swear, as soon as you start to talk about getting rid of a car..the car itself hears you..and starts having issues just to prolong ownership. Both cars are doing this. UGH.

sounds like boost leak on the Audi and a bad heater core hose on the SUV

Default Not sure of the boost leak..because it did this before..and went away all by itself

Definitely annoying. I had three B5 S4s..that were prone to boost leaks...it doesn't feel like a boost leak..especially since there is no sounds..or evidence of a boost leak.

Sounded sorta weird last night when jump starting my SUV though...like an exhaust leak about mid car. A weird hissing sound mid car...

Might be a failed (or failing) coilpack. Vag the car there might be some stored codes.

Default No..coil pack will cause uneven idle..runny rough..this is not that..

It just has low boost.

Default I had low boost conditions with perfect idle and smoothness with a failing cp.

It showed more symptoms the next day. Replaced the cp and voila, problem solved.
