Default Ecode gurus, need some advice..

As I am swapping to ecodes from halogens, do I need any other parts besides the housing?

After doing some research, found out that I need a range control motor and a control unit as well for each side. Can anyone clarify this?TIA

Default If you have halogen headlights, and you get halogen ecodes, its plug and play nothing but the

housing is needed. You might want to pick up some better halogen bulbs and switch that while your at it.

Now if you get S4 ecodes, which are xenon, they come with auto levelers (which wont work if you didnt orginally have xenon) and you will have to purchase bulbs and ballasts...

Default You will need bulbs and ballasts depending on the type of housings you're getting...

the motors are actually built into the housing of the bi-xeneon S4 headlights. they are used for auto-leveling. If your car came without auto lev, that fuction will not work but the lights will.

You only need the housings, bulbs, ballasts. Finding the right combination can be tricky unless you purchase as a kit.

Try the following:

and call LLtek. I have not done this upgrade to xenon however i called lltek and they are very knowlegable on this topic.
