Default Fault Code Help

Hooked up my new VAG-COM to change lighting from DRL to USA and found it was already programmed to USA, found the following fault code:
09- 1 fault
01800 - Light Switch (E1)
27-00 - Implausible Signal

Can some one clarify the meaning?

Also, I want to change the 09 module coding from 00013 to 00011 so the fogs will work without low beams. Is anyone familiar enough with the Ross Tech program to tell me how to change that coding?
Thank you!

Default You don't list your MY, but the fog lights without low beams will not work on 2003+

Your only option is the DRL's. This will give you fog lights on all the time (can not turn them off).

You just want to recode that module. Once you go into that module you will see the option to recode. I would make a list of all your original codings incase you have problems and want to code back to stock.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/audiB6.html">If you haven't already make sure you read this page.</a></li></ul>

Default You want to use the RDW coding then.

I don't know if you have HID lights or not.

HID = 00011
Halogen = 00001

Ok, i'm being dense, sorry. The code 00013 displays in the coding....i tried to enter the field to change the coding but that field doesn't respond. The Ross Tech software has Basic and Advanced buttons on the bottom half of the screen....i believe the recode is one of the buttons under the advanced heading. I was a little skittish about clicking on stuff becuase i didn't want to screw anything up. so are you saying clicking on the re-code button will open that field to change the code? And yes, i have HID....Hey, thanks very much for your help!
