and finally... did i mention before how much i love eBay.de???
just won a complete set of auto-dimming mirrors for ... well let's just say it's a pretty good deal...
now since the morons at AoA removed the auto-dimming option on all MY03 1.8Ts, i'm gonna try to see if i can retrofit the side ones since i've retrofitted the rear-view one already... and as the rear-view as just a matter of running power up to the mirror, the other wiring being already there, i'm hoping the wiring for the side ones is also there and this might just end-up being a straight forward plug&play...

plus the housing are black so i'll be able to see how adding that to my ongoing black theme works out...
and if nothing works... no biggy... i'll just sell the housings and the glasses...
