Default i was the development car for B6, so i have the 1st one made for this platform...

since the producer is local here to Denver. I did quite a bit of data logging, same night, just with/without the shield and saw difference of 10 deg C and more between with and without the shield (for the better of course). i have an EVOMS "hot air" intake...so that was significant. the reduction wont be as drastic on a stock airbox of course...but every degree C reduced is more power gained (or rather not lost)...so its worth it!

Default Yes would like to keep that area "cooler". Was thinking about cutting a hole in the

the tock airbox under it but not sure if that is useful

Default Might be a better price, but not quality...

the guy on Audizine making these has been testing for a long time and has independent testing from users as well. He's tried numerous heat resistant materials and each of his templates was made for exact fit with each application that he makes. Cheaper price might buy a piece of aluminum that looks like a heat shield but it wont get the job done.

2nd...the AZ shield is top notch. Matt really puts a ton of time into them and hand builds each one
