I disagree.
I've seen constructive argument and discussion as well as Honda-bashing and Bimmer-pissing.
When navigating forums, I do two things:
1. SEARCH for a topic that may have been discussed, and if not, then post my question/s, and
2. SKIM the newer topics and jump into the threads that interest me.
There is one thing I specifically AVOID doing: Getting caught up in negative discussion (e.g., bashing or responding to trolls). I'm responding to your somewhat-negative message because I don't think it's a deliberate troll.

Too many mindless people here who are always thrilled to be driving the best car ever made...
...some balance is appreciated and warranted if the forum is to be useful...
The car is great--that's why we are all here.
The car is far from flawless and has some glaringly bad quality problems as anyone reading the forum would quickly discover.
I just ignore the gushing posts. Why can't you just ignore the repetitive whining posts and stick around for all the other good stuff?
