Default Getting my Subwoofer installed today.....

1 - JL 12w3v2
2 - Zapco 350 amp

Any tips or concerns i can tell the people installing the system? ie. where to get power from?

Default If those people do not know basic things like where to get the power from...

you should not be letting them install anything in your car. I am absolutely serious.

And of course the power has to come directly from the battery, with a fuse installed near the battery connection. Possibly a flux capacitor as well.

im reading ome older posts and people are getting power from the power block by the knee bolster

You should be using at least 4 gauge wire for that setup.

yup, which is why I can't imagine any other way but direct to battery connection.

Default actually, there's a 4 gauge wire that goes from battery to fuse block, which you can tap behind knee

bolster

probably not ideal, but works great for me

i ran a 4 gauge wire right through the firewall on the drivers side...turned out great
