giac fx with tiptronic?
thanks to all who replied to my original post (i accidentally deleted the original post). any thoughts if the fx injector program will prove too much for my tip? awe tuning says no but i'd like some other opinions.

Re: giac fx with tiptronic?
I have a lot of mods with my tip and it works fine- except. Now that I'm in the 280 hp with a lot of trq. it will shift up and down as it has too much power for stock software. It's fine if I don't push the pedal too much, (and it worked fine when I had APR stage 1 only).
Now, I use tip all the time, (plus I like it better).

Re: giac fx with tiptronic?
thanks jwj! i use my tip all time now anyway so that wouldn't be an issue. i'm running the giac tip chip as well which signifcantly reduces the lag. what other mods are you running to push the hp beyond giac fx upgrade? any improvement in low end torque with the fx injectors and the tip?

Just go Revo (read)
Since AWE wouldn't sell my GIAC FX I decided to hell with them I'm joining the REVOlution. Called up Dave @ E-Code Tuning and decided to go with TT225 Injectors, E-Code FMIC, Forge 007 and Revo Big Injector Software. There are plenty of people running E05's and K04's with tips and the only reason AWE won't sell it to tip owners is because they haven't tested it on a tip car. The excuse I got from AWE was that the software would have to be changed for a tip also... Yeah ok...
