Gray lower portion of rear bumper

Gray lower portion of rear bumper
I recently had my rear bumper scratched (brilliant black A4 with lower gray trim). The body shop cannot match the gray portion of the bumper correctly because they claim they can't get an accurate color code for the gray. Does anyone have any idea what the color code is. the repainted gray came out looking lighter than the other gray lower trim around the doors and the frnot bumper. It looks terrible and I'm pissed.

Re: well i say just go right ahead and get all of em' painted black...
I would love to but the car is leased and I am a little concerned that it might be a breach of the lease terms to alter the car's coloring. Don't get me wrong, I hate the gray bumpers. Plus, repainting the one gray part of the rear bumper us cheaper than painting all the trim black.

Interesting, because I am also getting my bumper repaired next week and explicitly asked about...
... whether the entire bumper would have to be replaced because there was damage in that area. The shop guy then told me that the lower part was painted a flat grey color, I mentioned it was plastic, he says 'the whole bumper is plastic -- comes primed from the factory'. He then proceeds to differentiate between the lower portion of another Audi on the lot (a B5) and points out how that bottom trim is actually textured and how my trim is flat in my B6.
So now I'm confused because people on this forum have repeatedly stated that their B6 lowers are not painted, even a flat grey color. Does this mean that the 2002's had textured lower trim that is actually just bare plastic and they changed this to a flat-grey painted lower trim for 2003? Or what?
I don't want to be stuck in a similar situation to jba1 where they can't / won't fix the damage to the lower because it really is just raw plastic.

Re: It's not painted. It's grey plastic. They should have known that and now they should replace i
A friend of mine has a 2002 A4 has the gray on his trim is more textured an maybe a little darker. I actually emailed AudiUSA for an answer about the gray color. Audi should be aware of the exact shade of gray on the car trim, plastic or not.
