The ATP kit is signicantly more expensive 5g, but includes front-mount intercooler, dual ball-bearing turbo, custom manifold, larger injectors, downpipe, etc. etc. and I also beleive it produces 400 crank hp. PES T-28 is a more common kit, its cheaper... What do you think?

Yikes, huge gains either way
I don't know much about the ATP kit, 400hp is a whole lot for a 1.8L to handle. You'll probably get better longevity from the PES kit.
As a side note: I wasn't aware that PES was offering a kit yet . . . elaborate!

The PES kit on it's way. It currently running on their test vehicle, but is not on the market yet...
I don't really know any specifics about the kit except for what is on their site. I know the kit will make around 270-300 hp and will be around 3-3500 bucks. One guy in Jersey has been in the T-28 equipped B6, and hopefully we'll get some more details soon...

He's referring to the B5, however, I think those issues have been ironed out.
There were some challenges dealing with the DBW cars, so it took a little longer to get those kits working properly. I'm not clear on the details, but I've been told that they run smoothly now. There is only one PES B6 A4 with a T28 right now...since it's still in the testing/tuning stage, it's probably way to early to comment on how smooth that car is.
