headlight problem - please help

headlight problem - please help
Here is the story:
Bought the car 2 months ago and absolutely love it. Been getting cold here in Canada and noticed the right headlight getting a lot of condensation. Checked the back of the headlight and the damn cover was open. Over the next week the headlight started to work sparatically and then just died. Took it to my trusted Audi repairman and he said the ballast went - AARGH!! So, $450 later + 14% taxes the headlight is working again. The head light was removed and dried out completely but looks like a$$ with the dried water particles inside.
Today I get another error message: it looks like the high beam signal with an exclamation mark in the center with an arrow above and below it. Does anyone have any idea what it is? Also, does anyone know how I can get the inside of the headlight cleaned up so it doesn't look so bad? Is there a way to take off the clear lense to clean it without damaging anything?
Any help is appreciated. I'm not on the forums so much but will check in as often as I can.

Your car has xenons right?
I assume that by reading about your $450 ballast. You could clean the headlight by removing it from the car and disconnecting the self-levelling motor arm. This will allow the inner housing to swing back and forth, giving you a bit of space to do some cleaning inside the housing. Good luck.

yes, my car does have Xenon lights. I am thinking that the problem I have now has to do with the leveling motor itself. I have replaced everything else in the headlight besides that and that is the only error message I can think it relates to.

If you just bought the car two months ago, how come the CPO warranty is already expired?
Sorry for the examination, but just doesn't sound right to me, Maybe I am missing something obvious, it happens.

I'm sorry, I didn't clarify - I didn't buy the car from an Audi dealership - bought it from an Acura dealership. Hope that clears it up.
