Headlight Question

OK the base halogen headlights suck. I want Bi-xenon but can't afford them unless someone wants to sell me theres used. What can I do CHEAPLY to improve the light in my current headlights? Thanks

Cheaply probably nothing, but....

You could do an HID conversion kit which would be a lot cheaper than buying OEM bi-xenons.

Anywhere from $200-$400 I guess... depending on which kit you would go with....

I don't know entirely too much about them, but my friend had one on his B6 and he's gotten them for his other "beater" cars

You need something like this.

Alternatively you can hunt around the classifieds as ecode housings can be bought cheaply. OEM ballasts and bulbs can be bought on Ebay.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=80377">AZ warning</a></li></ul>

are those xenon or HID?

xenon=HID.

HID (High Intensity Discharge) is the type of bulb used. Xenon is the gas that fills the HID bulb and makes it work.

99% of the people use terms xenon and HID interchangeably.
