HELP CHIP ???

Wondering what chip people have/recommend and any to stay away from?

GIAC seems to be the chip of choice right now. Try the search

Many others are available, MTM, Wetterauer, Neuspeed, and APR (one of these days)..

Personally, I have been told that if I ever get anything other than GIAC, my G/F will leave me ;-).

Seriously, we have two GIAC chipped Audi's. Both run AWESOME. What can I say...get it! But if you have a tip, you also shoudl get the tip upgrade at the same time. It makes a HUGE difference in the way the car runs.

On the down side, APR is kinda of in trouble. It seems that they were caught pilfering code from GIAC. Not sure of the details (I could ask, but haven't and don't see a need to...) so I can't say what will even happen to the APR chips. Intellectual property law is not my thing ;-)...
