Default HELP PLEASE!!

I just bought a 2003 A4 1.8t. It has the stock 15's. I want to put on 17's.

My questions is regarding the suspension. Since I dont have the sport package, will 17 inch wheels make it look as though my car is riding high or will it look the same as any other regular a4 with 17's??

Also, if anyone has some 17's they can sell me Im open to just about anything.

Thanks!!

Default Non-sport with 17's will have wider wheel-well gap than Sport-equipped A4s.

It may not bother you, but it may look a little odd if your car was parked next to a Sport package-equipped A4.

Default Re: Non-sport with 17's will have wider wheel-well gap than Sport-equipped A4s.

can this be solved by putting the sport springs from Audi on the car? If im not mistaken they are only a few hundred.

Or is the gap so minimal that I wouldnt notice if properly equiped with the right tire/wheel combo?

Thanks!!

Default Possibly, but you may want to do a search on the forum...

to see if there are pics of cars with non-sport and 17" wheels.

To me, it's noticeable when I see one, but then again, I have the sport package, so it stands out to me.

Default pic of neuspeed sport vs. non-sport with 17s

Audi doesn't sell lowering springs (the eibachs listed on their site are for B5s)... although you can buy lowering springs (H&R, Neuspeed, Eibach, etc.)

Default the sport package consists of more than springs.

Bigger sway bars, an upper cross brace, different struts/springs, and the wheels and performance tires. If you opt for the wheel package and then by springs you might have well opted for the sport package, as you get more for the dollar.
