HELP ! Quick help required pls ! !
Installing aftermarket HID and cannot find the healdight fuse as it requires an upgrade in wattage. I tried the light after a brief unsuccessful search and heard the all to familiar sound of a fuse blowing. Now the untouched side works and the HID equipped side doesnt.
Anyone know where the headlight fuses are ? The fuse panel in the car has a fuse spot for "Right and Left Dipped Headlight" which is vacant in my car so it must be for the auto level for HID.

I have aftermarket HIDs and didn't go higher with the fuse
I had my set on my 98 and now my 02, no problems. Fuse diagram should be in your manual, and if you must up the fuse, just go maybe 5 over to be on the safe side.

Yes I did. Fuse should be in the driver's side panel
when you open your driver's side door there's a panel at the very end of your instrument cluster. Pop off that panel with a very thin flathead of equivalent and you'll see a bunch of fuses. Your manual will tell you which spot your headlight fuses are.

You might have shorted the wiring on the harness on the side in which you installed the HID. Sometimes cars that don't have the Xenon harness can't handle aftermarket HID. Just my 2 cents =)

Ok, I'm obviously assuming your car never had HIDs and that everything is rigged right...
Try spot 20, which should be your right low beam and spot 21, your left low beam. If the 15s there are blowing, try a 20, but I wouldn't go higher.
Btw, as a precaution, when starting the HIDs, try it with the headlights in full off position, insert key, and then turn on; then turn off lights to full off position, then take out key. We'll try not to shock the bulb that way, just as a precaution.
