Help with switchblade key
My remote on my switchblade key never really worked that well. Yesterday my remote stopped working at all. I got my other switchblade to see if it would work but didnt. I tried replacing the battery and reprograming them(tech section) and nothing works. If anybody has any other ideas please let me know....Thanks

take it to the dealer...they will plug into the ECU and reprogram both...(m)
I had this problem after they had to replace my steering angle sensor. They reprogrammed the key they had after disconnecting my battery, but forgot to tell me to bring in the spare. It takes about 2 min. for a tech to plug in and reporgram them. That's the best I can think of. Just gove the dealer a call, you shouldn't need any kind of appointment to get it taken care of...they didn't charge me anything and I would HOPE they wouldn't charge any of you.

when mine was done, they re-did the keys in the parking lot. If memory serves, they used the OBD2 data port to do this. They didn't start the car, take it for a drive, or otherwise. They just hooked up the computer reprogrammed the keys to operate on the same whatever it is (a rolling code of some sort im assuming). If you have a flashing capability to stock, it might be worth it, but if not, this has nothing to do with your chip, so they have no reason whatsoever to even look for that.
