Default Here are the first pics of my 03 dolphin.

It's an 03 1.8TQM, I had just gotten the new wheels on Friday. Sorry the wheels are pretty dirty. I had lunch w/ a friend yesterday and he happened to have a digicam w/him. I know it needs to be dropped and I'm working on it. I'm thinking of going w/ KW coilovers since the rear wheels poke a little. Wheel sizes are 19X8 and 19X10 dtm kreuz 10's w/ 235/35/19 frt and 265/30/19 rear Toyo Proxes t1s. Please tell me if you like it, hate it, what you think should come next, etc.

I think black would look better than the gun metals because gun metal is probably close but not an exact match w/ the dolphin. I was trying to decide to either go black w/ polished lip or just all polish. I put both against my car before I made the decision.

Default From what I understand, all dimensions are supposed to be within a certain tolerance...

whether it be diameter or width. Diameter would be worse obviously if it were off but I thought there was no tolerance anywhere.

Default Problem is,.. once people step outside those OEM spec/design boundaries...

on the quattro, there is no convincing them otherwise. Even if you had an Audi quattro engineer explain it until he/she was blue in the face.

Personally, I would keep it the same all around- no staggered affect on quattro. It is not a RWD car like BMW, MBZ,... Those cars are set up that way (my Dad's old 735i for example). Sure, a deep lip is one thing, but for just the sake of having a wider wheel in the rear on a quattro??

it looked good. It was a hard decision for me. It was really sporty looking. I have picture somewhere of the wheel placed on the side of my car somewhere. I'll try to find it and send it to you.
