Are the HID's low beam and the Halo's high or halo's low and HID's high?

HID lows, Halogen highs...
It would kind of suck if you paid all that money for something you rarely got to use! Besides, HID's don't "warm-up" fast enough to work as highs (to flash them). Systems that are HID for both use a mirror or lens to divert the HID main beam for the highs.

Yes, it's one of the "dual-purpose" systems I mentioned...
The Audi A4 Cabriolet will have dual HID's as well, marking a first for Audi (check recent pics, the lights are noticably different). They hopefully will also be on the sedan/avant within a year.
