How big of a difference between stock and a stage 1 chip
#3
Depends on how old your car is. I had to replace my DV to feel a difference.
Stock DV had 35K miles on it and just can't handle the extra boost. After I replaced it with a Hyperboost HX valve (thanks Greg!) the difference was night and day! My gas mileage is suffering now because my right foot suddenly got happier!

I've put about 35k miles on my car in about 15 months and just chipped. Although I haven't driven that hard, I think I need to replace the DV b/c the needle on my boost gauge is fluctuating. Seems as if the boost isn't holding.
