how do you guys clean the tar buildup on the outsides of your exhausts?? and the black film that..

Default how do you guys clean the tar buildup on the outsides of your exhausts?? and the black film that..

builds up on the inside of the tips?? i have a thermal race exhaust and when i cleaned the car the other day i noticed the tar on the outside and i noticed the inside of the tips are black...would like to clean them if possible..thanks

Default I just wash the tips with soap/water....

and polish them with wenol if necessary.

Default where can i get nevr-dull?? i tried soap and water and bug and tar remover...the bug and tar..

helped some but didn't get it all off...is it normal for the tips to b black inside?? thanks

most hardware stores and even some grocery stores carry nevr-dull

fine grit steel wool with a bit of metal polish works wonders

Usually just spray them with a grease remover and wipe.
