basically forever, injectors aren't really a wear item

they can get fouled though, but that can be cleaned.

Default Of course they are a wear item....after so many heat cycles they can crack....
I am talking hairline crack that can cause it to leak. If not cleaned once in a while they can clog too.

Default we're not talking like brake pads or tires though
the failure rate on injectors is pretty darn low

certain models of nissan,toyota, honda chew up injectors every 60k

because cars are still relatively new, mileage is low. You can't say "forever" when its not forever.

Default its all good....but...
the reason I say this, to be specific is because down the road, some noob is gonna buy a B6 A4. its gonna run like crap, for ie. flood the motor (with fuel) - he's gonna be sent to STFA and he finds this post and takes your answer for granted and disregards Fi's as being a problem, goes on to replace fuel pump, FPR, etc....without fixing his issue. That's all.
