my advisor said its not under warrenty after 12,000 miles... how did you get your's replaced?

Default My dealer said they changed the formula for the soft touch...
on 04 and up models so it would adhere to the the parts they were having the most trouble with. It seems to do fine when coated on most of the cars parts, but some were particularly problematic, hence why they replace it under warranty because they know it is a defect.

Default no problems here either. just replaced the stereo because
of peeling the size of a pinhead. they said that they would like to replace it now before it gets any worse.

So far only the ESP switch (seems common). It was replaced under warranty.
