How much did you get off of MSRP?
Hi, I'm looking at a new 3.0 6spd. The sales person that I was talking to, only said he could only take $1100 off of MSRP becasue they are rare. I think he is shining me on. I was wondering how much money was discounted off of MSRP.

$1100 is still not bad off from MSRP.
You might find another dealer take $1500-1700 off but thats about it. Its easier to get the CVT or Tip tranny in the 3.0 then the 6 speed. Personally, I would do the same as you and get the 6 speed. That 3.0 is fast with that 6 speed.

They are rare but they are also not selling that fast.
The sales guy spun me the same line. Call around to get a couple of estimates. Talk to the internet and fleet sales guys and check the TMV pricing on Edumunds - they should give you this price at a minumum. Picked up my 3.0 6 speed 5 weeks ago for 1000 over invoice - 2200 below MSRP.
