how to remove fuel pump

My Bentley refers me to Repair Group 20....
but the version I have, gives zero information for fuel pump R&R in Repair Group 20....
So I sent an email to RB, as I've had problems before with the Ebahn manual refering, and the info not showing up...

i got to the pump and disconnected all the necessary things...but
theres a cap type of lock around the rim of the pump which i dont know if im supposed to turn or flip off.

I've read the top ring turns...
by using a piece of wood. Its plastic, and you don't want to break it.
Once the ring is loose, you lift out the fuel unit, taking care not to tweek the level sensor.
