i was driving in my car listening to the news....and then
my audi symphony set just upped the volume by itself by about 4 notches i think...
any of u guys experienced this before? sheesh...that was scary....
am i missing out on anything?

I had a similar prob but it never happened again
The volume went up by two notches, back to where it was orig the down two notches then back to the orig postion then up two. Well you get the idea this happened for about a minute, but it has not happened since.

There is a feature in the radio that will automatically raise and lower the volume depending ....
on ambient noise in the car. If you're driving and the volume is at 12 and you open your window the volume will go up, when you close the window it will go back to the initial volume setting. If you don't like this feature, you can deprogram it by going into your radio settings, it is in the manual.
