in my recent extensive research, techs have noted MANY STOCK OILED have fouled MAF's.
$50 dollars for a filter that has proven no more effective than the stock paper from Audi, yet also is known to foul a $200+ part.
The value just doesnt match up

it doesnt matter how YOU see it, my friend, the fact is there, they blow MAF's in 10K miles.....
do a search before arguing.
you should acknowledge that it is possible for the original K&N straight out of packaging to have enough oil to foul a MAF.....but whatever, it was just a warning. If you want to sit here and defend them as if you have STOCK in the company, go ahead, it's your car. and your engine. and your MAF.

Interesting considering that I have had mine on for 30K with NO PROBLEMS!!!! Yup, MAF IS FINE!
You do a little more research on the matter....I don't get how you can sit here and argue with me about this when you DONT even have one? I don't have stock in the company nor do I care what you or anyone else cares about the filter. I just don't like the fact that you are telling someone not to buy my car because it has a K&N filter on it. Especially since you dont even have first hand knowledge of it.
