I need a crash course in changing 3.0 coil packs???
Anyone remove and replace the coil packs on the 3.0 V6? Looks like you need to remove all 3 on one side at the same time and then remove the bad one.
If you have done it I would appreciate a step by step procedure before I attempt it and break something!

Did you see this post by lawong. I would think the 3.0 CP replacement would be very similar.

The 3.0 requires the 3 coils be removed as a one piece set initially....
I was hoping someone removed them and would give a little insight as to what problems occurred when trying to pull 3 coil packs off the sparkplugs at one time. The cable connecting the 3 together doesn't seem to have much slack and you can't remove the coil pack connector off any given coil pack until all 3 are removed from the engine.
