I want to aim my HIDs up a little more...
Now I'm not sure I like this auto leveling... I find that the lights point down too far.
Is there any way I can make them aim up just a wee bit more, yet still auto level? (I guess they wouldn't be level then).
Also, do they relevel themselves while you are driving, or is it only when you first turn them on?

Advice....
Firstly, yes the headlights constantly autolevel (its pretty cool - you can check it by slowing down quickly and watching the headlights...they stay at the same level as your car dips).
Secondly, I had the dealer raise the headlights 1 level (using their vag com or whatever they use...). Unfortunately, 1 level raises the headlights A LOT. It's great for seeing things better (heck, it's like driving with brights on all the time), but I feel like an *** to everyone else b/c I know I'm blinding them. Apparently, you can adjust the beam with physical screws on each headlight, but I have no clue how to do it and I don't want to mess anything up. So, right now, I have them raised too high. The next time I bring the car in, I'll have them lower the lights again.

Sorry if not helping, but one more reason I like my non-xenon headlights...
last time when I swapped the H7 bulbs, I re-aimed the healights. Now, in the city, I aim them at position 2 which is equivalent of top position before. In country driving, I choose positions 1 or 0 that give me better illumination.

Remove white caps over the screw holes. Use a phillips or hex driver to adjust.
There are two separate screw holes that can be adjusted. One for horizontal, one for vertical.

Didn't even look for manual adjustments
I know what you're talking about, my GTI and Jetta both had them.
I just want to raise the drivers side one up a little bit because they aim it downward more than the passenger one not to blind oncoming traffic.
However, if they auto level, shouldn't it not matter what the housing is titled at?
