Just added RS4 rear sway bar. Nice inexpensive way to improve
overall handling and reduce oversteer.
I took car out for a test beating last night after bolted up. Roads were a little wet and when back end started coming out at 90 mph on a curvey dark road littered with concrete light posts. Good for the heart, bad for the undees...
I was pleased with results and thank those who have already done this as I read your posts and it made sense.
RS4 sway bar costs $101 at dealer and $16 for both bushings. Install is easy and only takes around an hour. Worth doing.

No link- Very easy to install. Others posted pics though.
Here's how it's done.
1-Drive rear tires on ramps.
2-Drop rear exhaust hanger for room
3-There are two "C" brackets on the frame with bushings. Remove top and bottom bolts.
One bolt on each end of sway bar- remove.
Total of only 6 bolts.
4-Remove old sway bar- position new bar the same.
4-I connected end bolts first and then "C" brackets. Use locktight on re-installing bolts.
5-New bushings are larger so I took an extension and pushed the top bolt in and screwed in. This takes a little extra effort. Then pliers to squeeze bottom of bracket and insert bolt.
All done.
If your going to do- I can send pics.
