Just finished my subwoofer install (BWW)
Took me a while, but finally finished everything. Thanks to everyone here on AW who helped me through the install!
First, I used information from patjin's site and took the rear left trunk liner out of the car and masked it with two layers of masking tape.

Then I cut the fiberglass cloth into 2" strips so it's easier to work with.

After the first layer of fiberglass is laid down.

After laying down two layers of fiberglass, I popped it out of the liner and removed as much tape as I could.

Test fitting into the liner...perfect!
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/49934/pict1082.jpg">
Laid down serveral more layers of fiberglass (about 7 or 8 layers total), and fused the 3/4"MDF baffle to the enclosure.

My good old Diamond Audio MacDaddy subwoofer. Paid a good sum of money for it 4 years ago, still good after all these years!
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/49934/pict1153.jpg">
Cut off one end of the RCA, tied the grounds together, now it's ready to tap into the Bose amp.

RCAs tapped into the Bose amp. I did get some alternator whine, but I think it's because the power is pretty close by. Didn't want to redo the power wiring, so I just bought a ground loop isolator and got rid of the whine.

I used grey stone flake to paint the enclosure, but I think I will repaint later with a darker stone flake...stands out too much in the trunk. Sub mounted and bumping!

First time I've ever worked with fiberglass. 4 weekends to finish the job. including amp install
Most of the time was me taking a break from the fumes. The fiberglass resin really stinks! It gets pretty messy too, buy lots of disposable latex gloves! I'd wear a long sleeve shirt that you don't want anymore too, because the resin will burn if it gets on your arm (it heats up when it's curing).
You can finish most of the fiberglass in one day if the weather is warm. The resin took about 30 min to cure enough for the next layer on a 85F day in Socal. I spent the rest of the time figuring out how to cut the MDF so it'll fit into the hole. Ended up just finishing the fiberglass, trim off the edges, and trace the shape of the fiberglass opening onto the MDF. Worked out pretty well.

i did the same thing but i put a grille over my sub *MORE*
cuz i didnt want my golf clubs pokin a hole in the woofer. i have 12 in arc audio sub in mine... it seems like there really isnt that much air space...i think i shoulda went with a 10. but still... the 12 hits pretty deep and pretty hard. and you really cant beat that kind of install. totally custom totally stealth. most people dont even know that its there until i point it out.
btw... any pics of where you mounted the amp?
