Is it just me or have we been getting a lot more coilpack failures during the summer than winter?

Default whats the whole story on using B5 coilpacks?

you'd think something along the lines of the old TT225 which ran alot of boost would have some strong coilpacks.

Default Seems like it....and because of that, I ordered a vag-setup last night....

Yes I went cheap...I ordered the OBDtool for about 80 bucks which comes with the freeware version of Ross-tech. I have no real intentions of tweaking with boost or timing, but I do need it for CEL's and what-have you (especially coilpack failures).

If I do intend to screw around with logging and timing I can always order the full registered version for about $100.

http://www.obdtool.com/</a

I think I'll buy the pro-diag soon.

Still much better than not having a spare at all.

new ones are higher voltage for ULEV spec, I'd stick to the B6 ones
