i have a b6 A4 Quattro with a 3.0 and 6 so manual transmission, 160k miles
I decided to replace the transmission, steering rack, both front axles, flywheel, and clutch a few months ago. The job took 2 months to complete. Once I had everything assembled and running again I started to get a low oil pressure light on my dash. I figured maybe the oil had clogged the intake screen or oil filter from the car sitting so long so I removed the oil pan and cleaned everything then replaced the oil and filter. The light went away for 3 weeks. I parked the car for a few days and went to use it yesterday and now the light is back.
I never had this issue before doing the clutch,transmission, etc... but I did not touch the motor other than to suspend it with a rack while I removed the sub frame...
many suggestions on what could be causing this?
