Default Made an appointment to install my DSMIC...

found a mechanic shop to install. They are charging $85 for however long it takes instead of a flat book rate, plus I'll be on site to ensure they actually are working on it and not working 3 hours but charging me for 7. Not to mention they said they guarantee their work.

Can't wait!

Also ordered the B5 coilpacks, a new breather hose, and sparkplugs. Guess I got a project come labor day weekend.

Default nice stuff, although you should DIY

for me atleast, DIY is fun, you learn about your car and best of all you save $$. i plan on installing my DSMIC when i order it.

Default believe me, i'd rather DIM too, but i dont have the space (apt complex)...

the apt contract specifically states no working on autos on the premises. this apt complex has been known to kick ppl out for odd reasons. i'd rather pay some $$$ and have a roof over my head than live in my car with a DSMIC.

Default The car is parked and I have to wait for 2.5 weeks for the dealership mechanic...

to return from his vacation. Supposedly he is one of the best local mechanics so I'd rather wait for him than let someone else from the dealership touch my car. Once I take it in, I should have it back in about 5-7 days.
