Hi Aidi Gurus,

My A4 2002 quattro has 60k miles on it. Also, i have zero knowledge regarding brakes or that matter cars in general. I want to change the the pads and may need to change the rotors as well which i think then will be the complete brakes.

I am seeing a great price range difference on parts at the different sites that you have reccomended. Frankly i don't care much for an extra thrill or performance but definitely decent brakes. My car has 15" tires/rims.

Can someone point to the correct product that i should get. There are multiple product lines on these brakes which are not making much sense to me. The brakes that came with my car were pretty good for me. Also, budget is a little concern to me, so i dont want to spend a lot. I think the labor on this should not be more than 3.5 hours I am guessing.

I would also appreciate if you tell me what i should be looking at spending. I am also in the Chicago/Schaumburg area and would apprecaite if someone can refer a good mechanic shop.
