<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/61038/cimg0604_medium.jpg"></center><p>I need to remove the circled part of the headliner. It's the solid piece just before the rear windshield. There is something rattling in there that is driving me nuts. Anyone know how to remove this thing?

put your fingers in/around the piece with you knuckles on the glass -
There are clips at both ends, and i think 3 more, one in the middle and then the others at the 1/4 points. I start by pulling on one side then working my way across getting to the clips on at a time so i can pull where there is most resistance

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/61038/rear_headliner.jpg"></center><p>There are 9 clips. Two plastic ones on each end, one plastic one in the middle, and then 2 metal clips for each half.

One of the metal clips had come loose and was rattling.

Be careful with the plastic clips on the ends, they break easily. I snapped one and had a tough time getting the piece to sit back in flush like it used to. But at least it doesn't rattle anymore!
