Netscape dissin' 1.8t
Review on netscape trashed the 1.8t, thought that the 3.0 should be standard. Otherwise they loved the car.

http://home.netscape.com/ex/shak/autos/specials/Audi_A41.html</a

Um... they refer to the X-Type as a "slam dunk" 'nuff said.
And I quote:
"... don't forget the slam-dunk Jaguar X-Type--an entry-luxury sport sedan that offers both standard V-6 power (194-hp or 231-hp variants) as well as standard all-wheel-drive, all in the same ballpark price range ($29,950 for the X-Type 2.5 V-6 with AWD)."

lol...it's not thaaat slow...
it's in a respectable range, unless you're used to an S4 or M3. If test results mean anything, my Honda Prelude is only slightly faster than the 1.8T (about .4 sec 0-60), and I've never considered the 'lude to be a slow car, by any definition.

Yea, I saw that. Guess they didn't hear about the trunk handles falling off.
Some other magazine reviewed the car totally trashed it. The handle broke off when they went to use the trunk. I think it was Edmunds.com.
