Default New Audi owner

Just put a deposit on a 2002 Audi A4 1.8t, black in black, sport package, 5speed manual last night. I pick it up Monday.
My 1st mod would probably be to get a short shifter anybody can recommend a good one? Looking at the Nuespeed. Also what's a good shop in NJ to get this done?
thanks and can't wait for the Audi experience

Default Y'ello! Follow up with a snub mount to decrease the shift slop too.

CHEAP and EASY to install!

Default congrats on the new a4, your gonna have a blast with it. as far as short shifters go (more)

check out stratmosphere, there is a post below talking about the issues with the B&M short shifter so id stay clear of that unless you want to have some fabricating issues. also the search tool will have almost all the answers you need. it just takes some time to get the hang of it.

good luck and welcome aboard.

Default Neuspeed. Install it yourself.

You'll have 1-5 hours of Audi bonding right away.
