Default New S-Line Shift ****

FedEx delivered my new S-Line Shift **** today. Thanks to Chris at EPi

It includes boot. Now I have to figure out how to remove the OEM ****/boot. Looks simple enough. Any help appreciated.

Default How bulky is the **** compared to stock NA one?

is it like the cue ball sized stock north american one? or is it slimmed down?

Default Re: New S-Line Shift ****

You have to take off the lower trim panel. You can do this by gently prying up on it with something that won't mar it...

It's essentially the same size: 2" circumference

Default Moments later...... S-Line Shift **** installed!

Thanks for the help. I just tore it apart.... Nah, I only rip apart the metal band [with pliers/flat head screw driver] that holds the plastic prongs in place around the metal shift tube and pulled it off. Pretty simple. You just gently un-clip the base of the boot frame, lifting that up over the ****, then remove that metal band and slide it off.
