Default I like my Dunlop WinterSport M2; might try Nokia WR when they run out
If you have a lot of ice to deal with though, these tires are not that great.

Default I used Dunlop Wintersport M3's
I have to say that they were awesome here in VT this Winter. Great combo of snow/ice traction an handled well during spirited driving also. BTW, what are those wheels?

Default I have Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22's. I loved this tire.
The LM-22 is the sportier version of the Blizzak line (lower profile, directional tread) Since I've just moved to Southern California I don't have much need for them anymore.

i have the blizzak ws-50's also very pleased with the performance in the snow

No idea what they are called ... picked them up from the dealership ... they are 16x7's ... told they were a new Audi winter wheel for B6s ...
