Default OK people....let me ask you this, assuming that chips void warranty, wouldn't you rather wait....

for the proper chip to be built and tested than to get one soon and have it blow your engine and have to replace it yourself??? I understand you are frusterated with waiting...but the fact is that if you think APR makes the best chip..then it is a good thing that they are protecting you by building one that works flawlessly in our cars. Do you REALLY think people over at APR are sitting aroud going "hmm, let's see, should we make a chip for the new A4 or not?" It is a huge market for them...and I am sure that they are working on releasing the best possible product they can. Be patient!

Default Exactly. Just like it's hard to say that the ones that are out work great...

...when there has been no long term tests that would show any negative effects.

Default The GIAC chip is proven already...

Just get it and be done with it already.

My brother has a Dolphin 02 - the GIAC chips pulls smoothly and hard - no problems at all. He's got over 18k miles on it (a mix of everything from grocery getting to highway hijinks.) First, I got him to get the Audi; then the chip; the only thing he ever complains about is the cost of premium gas. I just ask him if he enjoys the car and the power increase; both of which he loves

APR's crack engineering staff obviously is having problems - I'm sure they have the degrees - but then certs don't mean squat in IT, either. I'm sick of hearing all of you guys complain about the lack of an APR chip - just get the GIAC chip - it works safely and very, very well.
