Painted my calipers red...they look BLING!
except the rotors are so small. At least the mesh wheels hide them...somewhat.
Check it out, i even went to the trouble of making a DIY!
Here are the materials you will need:

Brake Caliper Paint from Pep Boys: $6.99
Brake Parts Cleaner from Pep Boys: $1.99
Wire brushes (set of 3) from Home Depot: $1.50
Paint brushes (Set of 5) from Home Depot: $3.99
Paint Tray from Home Depot: $0.98
Construction paper from Home Depot (for a very big roll): $7.88
First off, jack up the car and get them on jackstands and remove the wheels
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/69842/dscn1360.jpg">
Line the floor with some builders paper or construction paper as not to get the floor paint-stricken.
Then clean off the brake caliper using the brake cleaner and the wire brush.

Spray the bottle into a small tray/bucket so that you can paint directly onto the caliper
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/69842/dscn1367.jpg">
layer on a coat using the brushes and paint where you please
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/69842/dscn1363.jpg">
Note, the first coat doesn't have to be perfect, just get a decent amount of paint on there so that you can paint over it again.
Wait at a minimum of 10 min for the paint to dry, then apply a second and third coat (fourth if you're meticulous) waiting 15 min in between the second and third coats.
After you finish the coats and they look good enough to your discretion, wait an hour for the paint to dry before mounting the wheels again.
(good time to clean the inner rim of your wheels)
Mount the wheels to the car and enjoy:

Be sure to wait ~24 hours to let the paint cure, preferably in a garage. Then enjoy!

An alternative method could be to tape around the entire area, or even to take off the caliper and actually spray paint it. However, i didn't have the time to take off the caliper nor did i want to mask everything off, and this was a very nice alternative.
