I am throwing code PO444. I know this could have something to with the gas cap. On my GTI there is pressure when I open the gas cap. I noticed that the Audi has no pressure relief when I unscrew the gas cap. I am curious if someone can tell me if the cap not being pressurized and PO444 are one in the same issue?

Did a quick search and found the following. Someone correct me here, but I don't think it is the gas cap as mine does not hiss when removed and I have no CEL.
P0444 - Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit Open
You didn't mention if it suddenly happened or you had been working, but bheck the connection to the purge valve located behind the airbox.
