Is it possible the 3.0's are built with higher/stricter standards than the 1.8t's?

Seems us 3.0 owners don't have nearly as many problems as you guys with the 1.8t's.

I realize there are more of you but still I think we would see some probs with 3.0 than we are seeing here.

any thoughts?

Actually, maybe they are assembled at a different plant???

I think it is a sociological problem, I bet 1.8t owners are more picky

Default You could be right. 1.8T's more younger people seem to be driving them.

Older you get the less you care in most cases. Hell, if my driver side door fell off I wouldn't care....

It's just 3.0 A4 sells to a different age bracket while 1.8T aims at "the Young and Restless".

I used to have a 1.8t. The 00 1.8 and the 02 3.0 seem on equal ground to me.

Quick Reply: Is it possible the 3.0's are built with higher/stricter standards than the 1.8t's?
