PRV Bad?
My turn.
Stock 2003 1.8t including the vacuum system with 157000 miles with the original "A" version of the PRV.
I have the ubiquitous random misfire and lean codes, so suspect I have a vacuum issue. I looked over all the lines and couldn't find anything obvious. I have noticed about twice a week, a strong smell of oil inside the car. Would that be an indication of a bad PRV? I have seen the recommendation to just replace it since it is old. Should I just replace it and see if that corrects it?
